O Pacific College Alumni Allied Health Scholarship:

 

Pacific College has established a scholarship that is available for alumni of the Pacific Colleges Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant programs. This scholarship range $500 - $3,000.

 

Qualifications for this scholarship are the following:

 

· You must be a graduate of Pacific College’s Medical Assisting or Certified Nursing Assistant programs

· You must be a US citizen

· You must be enrolled in an Allied Health program offered at Pacific College in Costa Mesa, California

· You must be at least 17 years of age

· You must be a high school graduate or GED holder from an accredited school

· You must provide at least 2 years of documented work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant

· You must write a 1-2 page essay explaining why you are interested in continuing your education in the healthcare field. This essay will be written on site and proctored at Pacific College in Costa Mesa, CA.

· You must meet Pacific College’s educational requirements for entry into an Allied Health program.

· Scholarship is available for students starting in class from June 2008  through December 2008

 

Award Deadlines and Dates:

 

Scholarships are awarded monthly. Each applicant must meet all scholarship requirements two weeks prior to the program of interest start date. Scholarships can only be used at Pacific College located at 3160 Red Hill Ave. Costa Mesa, CA. 92626. Scholarships will be awarded by the president of the college after qualifications have been reviewed by the scholarship committee.
