The admissions team’s role is to do the following:

 

· Answer any questions potential students (and their parents) have about the programs

· Ensure that the potential student is the correct fit for Pacific College

· Assist with the completion of admissions paper work

· Confirm that the student has met all the admissibility requirements

 

 

 

The admissions Team is available Monday—Thursday 9am—7pm, Friday 9am—5pm and Saturday 10am—2pm.

The admissions requirements listed below have been established for all students that want to attend at Pacific College:

1.  Students must satisfy one of the following standards:

· Be a high school graduate, or

· Possess a General Education Diploma (GED)

2. For admission into the Associate of Science Degree programs, a successful pass rate on the entrance exam or equivalent assessment results from a California testing center is required. Determination of equivalency will be made by the Director of Education.  Vocational Nursing students must pass the nurse entrance exam or it’s equivalency as determined by the Director of Education.

3. Nursing students must clear a criminal background check and a Director of Nursing interview.  Vocational Nursing students need to refer to the Pacific College Nursing Handbook regarding Admissions and Student Information and Services.  Policies in the Vocational Nursing Handbook supersede those of the Pacific College catalog for Vocational Nursing students only.
